Essential oils are products of a plant’s metabolic process, each having their own therapeutic properties and distinctive aroma. The massage encourages circulation whilst allowing the oils to be absorbed by the body, enhancing the body's self healing and self-regulating processes. The pressure can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual.
This treatment is performed with the client lying on a couch. They should be undressed to just their underwear, and will be covered with towels, so that only the area being worked on is left exposed.

This relaxing therapy is a non-invasive complementary health therapy, helping the body to balance itself naturally by applying pressure to specific reflex points through the feet and lower leg. The hands, ears and face also contain reflex points. The theory being that these points correspond with different parts of the body. The treatment is not used to diagnose or cure and each person will have their own unique response to it. You may feel more relaxed, sleep more soundly or have a greater sense of well-being. In turn you may also feel emotional or tired. Such responses pass and are part of the healing process.
This treatment is conducted with the client either sitting or lying down, fully clothed and for foot reflexology their socks and shoes removed.
Traditional Thai massage is a physical, deep yet relaxing massage performed using gentle, rhythmic movements and focuses on energy lines and pressure points. While using hands, feet, knees on pressure points, the bodyweight of the therapist is also gently used to assist stretches - which are not unlike Yoga stretches, always working with the client and constantly assessing the pressure used and depth of stretch so as not to cause discomfort in any way. The theory is to restore balance within the body's systems and you may feel more energetic, rejuvenated and balanced physically, mentally and spiritually.
This treatment is performed at floor level on a mat and over clothing. The client will be asked to wear loose clothing that will not impede stretches. The client also needs be aware that they are not passive through the massage and will be asked to move into relevant positions within the massage. With new clients the first treatment will need to be 90 minutes.

This treatment can be conducted with the client fully clothed; sitting on a chair or lying on a couch or undressed using specifically blended oils.
